North Siouxon Creek to Black Hole Falls Trail is listed as aprox 9.8 miles out & back, but our tracking shows it to be about 12 miles over all. This trail is awesome! There are creek crossings all along the trail, they are safe but are an extra little challenge I want to make you aware of. This trail is rated as moderate for difficulty and is considered to be only moderate traffic for hikers, joggers, and some bikers. The entire hike out & back can take about 4-5 hours as we normally will have lunch at the falls and time for photo ops. Back pack with plenty of water & snacks is a must, along with proper hiking shoes & comfortable clothing. The drive up from our meet up at Chelatchie Prairie Store is about 35 mins. The road up can also get a bit rough for smaller vehicles with low ground clearance, but is totally doable. Meet up for car pool & car train is at 8:00am, please be on time and communicate with Michelle regarding any issues or concerns. Let’s hit the trail!
